Fine art photographer Scott Morgan creates images that reveal the chemical process of transformation, in an effort to explore the metaphysical premise behind it.

"Heavenly Light" is a catalogue of the artist's photographs from his "Gates of Heaven" and "Shiva" exhibitions, which debuted at the Ricco Maresca Gallery, New York, NY. Based loosely on the Tibetan Buddhist concept of Bardos, or doorways, through which the soul passes after death, the images are created with low-grade explosive materials and processed to create works that appear both ancient and modern. Foreword by A. D. Coleman, Tritone separations by Robert J Hennessey, Design by Jennifer Wolfe. Printed at Meridian Printing in Greenwich, R.I.
