Lotte Lehmann Foundation

The Lotte Lehmann Foundation is one of the most respected non-profit musical foundations in the United States. Named for the great German soprano, Charlotte "Lotte" Lehmann, who gave many of her most memorable performances in the operas of Richard Strauss.

The foundation serves to preserve and perpetuate her legacy, as well as promote the role of art songs in contemporary classical music. The new identity was created to capture Lotte's unique combination of strong, rigorous German discipline and marked femininity.
