African Law Library

We are always excited to help an organization form itself right from the beginning. Such was the case with the African Law Library, the first and most comprehensive online portal for African law and governance. It provides multidisciplinary research and interaction on comparitive law for lawyers, businesses, educators, government and the general public, on law and policy across the continent.

As part of a comprehensive positioning and branding of the ALL, we conducted competitive research assessments and user interviews, to inform the development of the portal's tools, as well as the identity and mobile personality. We then generated design concepts for a layout of the physical library–a circular space with library sections that correspond to the online catalogue, so users virtually search in the same sections as visitors to the actual library.
